Description

Is it possible for an American Vice President to carry out a criminal enterprise inside the White House and have nobody remember? To have one of the most brazen political bribery scandals in American history play out before the country while nobody’s paying attention? In her first original podcast, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow goes back 45 years to dig into a story that got overshadowed in its day. There’s intrigue. Corruption. Envelopes of cash delivered to the White House. It’s a story that’s not well known, but it probably should be. Especially today. Bag Man. A Rachel Maddow podcast from MSNBC. Launching October 30th. this sounds so like dictator "Trump" refuse to call him our President. Not worthy of the title. .

As a part of his plea deal, (in which he avoided any and all jail time,) did Agnew have to declare every crime he had ever committed as is the requirement for plea deals in certain districts today?

Dear Ms. Maddow, Mr. Yarvitz & the team at MSNBC, Thank you & BRAVO!! This podcast has been a fascinating listen into the Nixon years. One of the aspects which says so much about our changing times was the wrap-up interview with the lawyers who had been involved in the original case. Given the opportunity to divulge the carnality behind the details, they chose NOT to do so! Whether they did that to protect the family of the woman who had been Agnew's mistress, or to maintain their own sense of the dignity of their office...it was refreshing to NOT hear the miopia of these private details. It was enough to know that Agnew had been a fraud on many levels...the rest is really none of our business. It makes one wonder how many stories have been swept beneath the rather extensive rug which 'lies' in the Oval Office?! Time to get a very fine broom. Keep Up The Excellent Work! Blessings, Kim Schellenberg
