Description

Case Closed is a true crime podcast about the times the bad guy didn’t get away with it. Season 2 follows the murder of Atlanta businessman, Rusty Sneiderman. On November 18, 2010, Rusty was shot dead in broad daylight in the parking lot of his son’s preschool. This crime explores much more than just murder. Who really pulls the trigger? Season 1 followed the murder of Erin Corwin, who was just 19 years old when she kissed her husband Jon goodbye at the Marine base in Twentynine Palms, California, and headed to Joshua Tree National Park. It was the last time anyone would ever see her alive.

Obviously the case can't be over. Andrea told the cops she hadnt known what happened to her husband til she got to the hospital but on her way to the hospital she told her friend that her husband had been shot.

If Shanna could be bothered to look at the law in California, she might know why it wasn't a death penalty case.

Are shanna's books as bad as her commentary on the podcast?

It's a pity about the poor audio production on this podcast. It makes it difficult to listen to. A pity though, as the the storytelling is good.

I agree with the volume comments! I always have the volume cranked and I'm still straining to hear.

Something about the mix is off in some of these episodes. More sound in one ear than the other. Tested against other pods and music its a problem with this show not the equipment I'm listening on. In this episode 80% of the sound is in my left ear. What gives?

I agree with everyone else about the poor quality of sound on this podcast.trying to listen to the mother on the phone for instance is difficult.

I enjoy the story telling, but in the episode "The Wife," it is clear that the author did not do much research on the military.

Joshua Taylor I was actually going to say the same. for clarification: married military members either get a house on base, or more money to rent off base. there aren't other pay or promotion benefits for being married. they would be allowed to move out of dormitory style housing. And, you get no more money for having children. it's with dependents (any amount) or without.

the sound is messed up on this episode. it's basically all on one side. I thought it was my headphones but when I checked on another podcast it worked fine. so it's definitely the sound of the episode.

I listen to times of podcasts. did anyone listen to what the editing software did to these interviews? the software destroyed so many key interviews. just awful. even the commercials have been affected
