Description

After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him.

Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that.

Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

I have a lot of podcasts that I love but Conan's is the one I truly look forward to. I just wish they were longer.

This conversation really clicked for me. I was picked on growing up which made school a really miserable experience (so much so, I transfered out of our school district for high school). I used laughter to hide my discomfort and emotional pain. My brother and I were, and still are, very close. Without him I'm not sure if I ever would have learned to genuinely laugh. The emotional pain I experienced as a child helped to shape the person I am today. My magic taught me to love everyone for who they are, never take yourself too seriously, and to be present, kind and mindful. I still make jokes, and recently left my job to pursue a career as an illustrator and cartoonist, hoping my humor can get me employed doing something I love.
