Description

Leon Neyfakh excavates the strange subplots and forgotten characters of recent political history—and finds surprising parallels to the present. Season 1 of Slow Burn captured what it felt like to live through Watergate; Season 2 does the same with the saga of Bill Clinton’s impeachment.

This series is so slanted as to be laughable. I'm done.

I suggest you go listen to all the shows MAE did on Vatican 2. Her research on that is bar none, all those same people are in HUGE positions now at the Vatican.

Linda Tripp is a maggot. She's the OT, original troll. Her actions were completely self interested. There's nothing that she can say that would convince anyone with a conscience that secretly coercing and recording a friend that's self proclaimed young minded was of pure intent. Nope! TROLL!

Great pod cast. Fascinating historical coverage, relevant to the present day political scene. However, background music overpowers the narrative!

Jacob Reeze, so, I guess we’re going to completely forget his brutal rape of Juanita Broderick, then, huh?

So sad. Bill was a good hearted and competent president. Today we're more aware that it's not the best conduct to have sex with subordinates -but to be clear Clinton's was consensual. Still, its ridiculous to use that to paint someone as a villian. He was doing his job as president, why should he have to confess his sex life to the public. If the gender roles were reversed people would be in knots calling it sexist to even make reference to the incident.
