A lot of these events happened on and around my birthday so this was really cool to hear! Also extremely odd
Am I missing something? Hosts seem to laugh just on about everything...
the old hosts are alot better. bring them back
how do i give a thumbs down
I first learned of Libertalia from Uncharted.
The announcer gal who asks us to send in our comments at the end of every episode either has allergies, a deviated septum, and/or needs to blow her nose. She is annoyingly nasal.
Candace has the voice characteristics of an uppity rich snob and comes across as conceited. Podcasts are all about voice so why not have someone who sounds like they can breathe through their nose, and is down to earth with whom more can relate?
I'm pretty sure that the Vatican just issued an apology to the Dominican gov for the Jesuit involvement in murders there.
You think you know how bad a person was, and then you listen and he's much, much worse. One of the top episodes I have heard.
I loved this episode! It was unexpectedly hilarious. Thank you!
I grew up on the Omaha reservation, and have not heard this story before. very interesting.my home town is Rosalie which is named after Susan's sister, Rosalie La Flesche
I loved this episode after several heavy topics. Thanks for the variety!
just look at a picture of the hosts and you will understand why they pick topics like this
Kayl matthew Its a huge deal that a native american stopped practicing her native medicine (which was actually very good). Assimilate into white culture. Get a white doctor degree. And take a white as fuck name like SUSAN.
Kayl matthew you need a better history podcast since you cant tell Matthew is a catholic name.
how do you go from an actual important part of HISTORY (kristalnacht) to this bullshit....
Sheri R why would you plagiarize show notes from a podcast haha. anyways it isnt a valid topic its just another lame ass personal hero of the hosts
Kayl matthew Everything is history, cinema and art are still valid and important topics to explore. Chill my guy, it's a great episode and there's no need to trash the hard work that the creators of the show put in. You don't have to get shitty about a show just because it's a topic you can't plagiarize for your high school history class.
I don't have the details but you can Google it. Shirley Chisholm spoke with the Lubavitcher Rebbe who, among other things encouraged her in her career. He also urged her to develop what later became Food Stamps.
thanks.. we a
Change name to "Stuff you missed in 7th grade Womens Studies"
I hope that they start focusing more on historical events and less on biographies of people. it's cool to have background knowledge on historical figures but this has turned out to be quite boring as of late
