Every single one of us has some kind of sense of humor, but only a precious few can make all of us laugh.  Cedric The Entertainer is one of those rare people with near universal appeal who has put together a hugely successful career as a beloved stand-up comedy legend, a Tony Award winning Broadway star, a popular game show host, a sitcom star, an iconic movie star and just for good measure he’s been awarded an honorary doctorate. For the last thirty years he’s been one of our most important and influential public voices. The comedy legend, who stars in and executive produces The Neighborhood and appears in the hit TV comedy The Last O.G., opens up about his life before comedy, including working as an undercover security guard at Sears, his philosophy with hecklers, the Kings of Comedy Tour, and more.

Hear what Dr. Phil and Coco have to say. https://www.drphilintheblanks.com/

Ever wish you could live a life where you could say exactly what is on your mind at all times? Very few people actually have that kind of freedom. It takes a certain kind of sacrifice in order to reap the rewards that come from being true to who you are. Such people must take the risk that being yourself will lead to being successful. There’s a certain kind of character a person must have to take such a risk- whatever happens is yours and yours alone- success or failure- its nobody else’s fault. We like that kind of character on Phil In The Blanks. True success ultimately comes down to self-ownership and the courage to take responsibility for oneself- all the good and all the not so good. Ron White has walked that walk, and because he’s walked the walk he can talk the talk- and when he talks people laugh and they laugh hard. He’s a Navy Vietnam vet, a blue-collar comedy icon, a producer, an actor, a whiskey drinking, cigar smoking, unfiltered, off the cuff stand up from a small town in Texas who’s seen it all, done it all and landed on his feet in front of microphone.  One has to love Ron White for all the good and for how he helps others learn to walk in their own truth the best they can. https://www.drphilintheblanks.com/
Jimmy Kimmel, radio host, sports guy, multiple award winning writer, producer and host, accomplished voice over actor, legend of the groundbreaking Man Show, screenwriter, host of the highly influential hit late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live, host of the ESPY's and the Academy Awards, avowed tormentor of Matt Damon, internet sensation, break up revenge artist, self proclaimed three headed dog and football prognosticator. Best known for putting the funny into taboo subjects that rampant political correctness has relegated to untouchable status. He will tell the truth in ways that cannot be dismissed or ignored and so has become a true national resource. He attracts a lot of controversy and makes a lot of people laugh, even when he makes them angry- so he must be doing something right. We're here to enjoy his unique talent and perspective on Phil In The Blanks. dr phil I watched your show this morning. today's date is 7-15-2019. I know you record so I'm sure this show was taped days ago but you had a lady on there that has lost her son. he died 10 minutes after leaving the house. I too know how that lady is feeling as I also lost my daughter in a car accident. there is nothing more therapeutic than talking with someone that really knows how you feel and what your going through. if there is any way you could let her know that I would like to contact and talk with her it would be very much appreciated. I love your show and I have learned alot and passed on information that I have learned from your show. thank you for being you. God bless you

Gayle King is a favorite of mine...and it is so interesting that she and Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz have all gone on to shows of their own. Oprah was fun to watch on her show those many years ago!
