Description

We all have limits. And some people who are pushed beyond those limits will do unspeakable things. In “Tally,” the first season of OVER MY DEAD BODY, Dan and Wendi are two good-looking attorneys whose wedding is featured in the New York Times. But when this “perfect” couple falls apart, it leads to a bad breakup, a worse divorce, and a murder case involving a menagerie of high-priced lawyers and unexpected co-conspirators. From Wondery, the team that brought you “Dirty John” and “Dr. Death,” “Tally” is a story that says as much about love and marriage as it does about justice, revenge, and the lengths some people will go to get what they want. Hosted by Matthew Shaer.

Perhaps if Dan had simply moved to South Florida, tragedy would have been avoided.

So the rich probably will get away with a murder. Whats new. Its a shame that prestige can buy silence. And in a family things are talked about. A hit doesn’t occur without a cause.

truthfully nobody in this story is innocent except for maybe the wives who seeked out this rabbi's assistance to divorce from their husbands who was just not having it. I mean think about it from the White House inspector if they were desperate enough to go seek out this man for his services they didn't get to that point by themselves had their husband simply did the right thing from the very beginning none of that would have been a thing and if we want to care the grass this Rabbi as anything anti-hero would probably be the most accurate description because although he did shity things and a few other more question with things can't really argue too much with his results. cuz she sit down ask all the women that he managed to help to them they probably see him as a hero he helped them when no one else would or could.

I completely agree with the last commenter completely. I can't sympathize for people who are abustive and then misuse their religion for another way to victimize their victims. I almost feel like the prodfather was a great antihero. I'm not condoning his actions.... but i didn't see anyone else helping these women.

Is the music meant to make fun of a murder. Thought this type of sitcom sound effects disappeared with Desperate Housewives

I'm having a hard time feeling sympathetic for men who are holding their wives and their wives' futures hostage with their religion. Were his methods right? no. But were these asshole husbands innocent? hell no. 🤷‍♀️

Brooke Venning I agree. I actually feel bad for the women who have no choice but to use such methods.

Anyone notice during Episode 3 around the 26 minute mark when Wendy calls her mom to tell her Danny has been shot you can hear her mom on the other line. If they are playing the whole call I find it super weird that when she tells her mom Danny's been shot her mom says "What? What? Ok, we'll be there as soon as we can. Are you ok? You sure?" And that's it... Wendy's Mom never asks what the hell happened, where he was shot, when, etc... I just find that super odd. I also find it super odd that when the detective first tells Wendy there has been a shooting at her ex-husband's house she doesn't immediately say OMG, are my boys ok!?!? That's the first thing I would ask! Just my two cents.... Wendy's Mom and bro hired a hitman and Wendy totally knew the whole time.

I agree I don't think Wendy is innocent I wish we could know just exactly what her part was and I think she's evil for not letting his parents see their grandchildren after losing their son and such a violent way then to lose their grandchildren also .She is definitely not a kind person.

i agree with u that it was wrong to keep the kids from him. I think it sucks that she wont let his parents see them. it has to be so hard to loose a son. in such a violent way then on top of it not be able to see their grandkids. do you have any suggestions on other good podcast I might listen to ,have a good one
