Description

We all have limits. And some people who are pushed beyond those limits will do unspeakable things. In “Tally,” the first season of OVER MY DEAD BODY, Dan and Wendi are two good-looking attorneys whose wedding is featured in the New York Times. But when this “perfect” couple falls apart, it leads to a bad breakup, a worse divorce, and a murder case involving a menagerie of high-priced lawyers and unexpected co-conspirators. From Wondery, the team that brought you “Dirty John” and “Dr. Death,” “Tally” is a story that says as much about love and marriage as it does about justice, revenge, and the lengths some people will go to get what they want. Hosted by Matthew Shaer.

I really don't think Wendy is innocent. I think she probably mentioned the idea of a hit man on more than one occasion to her family but did it in a way that she can write it off as a "joke" or passive comment. She claimed she wanted whoever did it to be punished to the fullest extent..UNLESS it was someone in her immediate family. That was weird to me. And then to be crying and acting so upset about what happened to her ex husband but then changing their names and not letting his parents see the kids...I'm sorry but no. Whether she played a big role or just knows what happened..she is not innocent in this.

I'm so shocked that wendy brother isn't arrested yet. they have the link between him and kath. I don't understand why they won't put pressure on her or give her a deal to get that brother. And its completely obvious that the mother knows about it as well. man this pisses me off. I just hope wendy didn't have nothing to do wit this.

Does anyone else find Wendy's family to be kind of creepy and dysfunctional, in their all-encompassing involvement in eachothers lives?

Thanks. Half the episode is ads.

Jason B It's ridiculous, right? If there were one or two well-chosen ads, I'd just let them play. As it is, I grumpily skip past them. I don't even know what's advertised on this podcast. I shan't persevere with this.

Wendy probably is innocent but her children will hold her responsible if she hasn't been forthcoming with the investigation. Those children deserve justice for their father.

Amanda Williams I don't agree she is innocent .. she wanted out of that town so bad! If he didn't know the law she would have been able to move away and not looked back.

The theme song reminds me so much of True Detective’s opening songs

This so racist !could you imagine if every quote like “she was perfect, good looking and most important Jewish “ with “white” or “aryan”??? Why do we tolerate cultural superiority complexs because it comes from a Bronze Age book of fairytales be it Christian/Jewish of Muslim? Might as well be saying “they awesome good thing there not black!”?
