Description

After 36 long years, failed police investigations, two coronial inquests, and countless appeals from Lyn's family, the case is stronger now - and once again it's in the hands of the office of the DPP. Regardless of their decision, the NSW police commissioner pledges to keep investigations going, and he plans to order a much more significant dig at the Bayview property. In this episode, former coroner Carl Milovanovich explains why he believes a jury would convict Chris over the probable murder of Lyn - and why the case still troubles him today, 15 years after his inquest in a Sydney courtroom. And Lyn's daughter Shanelle has final words in honour of her mother.

Thanks Podcast team for your relentless & gripping investigation into this haunting & heartbreaking story. I know most interviewees were careful in the way they spoke about anyone involved, but I don't have to be: he did it! He damn well did it, & the brother knows. what a pair of self serving, self entitled narcissists. For all Lynnette's family & friends who love & miss her, I feel broken for them. And I'll be watching & listening anxiously for what will happen now. I saw another very similar case, in the UK, in 1985 Carol Packman disappeared, her body never found, but 11years later husband Russell Causley was convicted of her murder on circumstantial evidence. Daughter Sam Gillingham brokenhearted & still looking for her body. it's on Netflix under 'The Investigator - A British Crime Story ' (you might already know of it). All the best.

why is the other brother Peter representing Chris in court? That's a major Conflict of Interest and SHOULD not of been aloud to happen, he has WAY too much emotional and personal investment in this case. Any professional solicitor with any integrity would excuse themselves and stand down especially if they where this close to the case, unbelievable.....

never thought she was buried at the house. chris dawson drove to south west rocks from Sydney a few days after her disappearance, I would bet my life that she was buried somewhere between sydney and south west rocks.

thank you for a great podcast and all the investigation you have done. I hope this helps the family of Lyn Dawson find justice for the loss of their loved one, and that the perpetrator is finally sent to jail.
