I do not think climate change is man made (maybe some impact). Our planet's climate has always changed. Ice ages, look at the diversion of the flow of the Columbia river before man, Ice bridge between Russia and Alaska, history of Iceland. We need to focus on reduction of fossil fuel use and reduction of garbage pollution of the oceans particularly. Give humans an incentived goal and they will solve the problem. Do Not make the government the overseer of the solution and more the promoter.

Irene Waldron Our planets climate has always changed over millions of years caused by volcanic activity (too much Co2), too many plants (not enough CO2), distance from sun (ice age) and meteorites (No sun), and 5 times resulting in mass extinction. But the current change is happening over a very short time frame, so short it can't be natural. Century's rather than millions of years. Got to be man made.

admittedly France may not be pursuing the right avenue here on climate change. but is anyone on the right even talking about climate change solutions? I really, really want to know. if the right finally agrees it's a big, man-made problem, why are they so against doing anything about it?

TarePlays it is in "evidence" very much man-made. clearly it's not just people putting co2 into the atmosphere. but it's not the volcanoes releasing chlorofluorocarbons into the atmosphere. or ozone. the amount of methane released by livestock is nowhere close to natural emissions. when people talk about a majority of scientists agreeing that this is human-caused climate change, that's not left-wing opinion, that's a based on meta-analysis of climate scientists' original research. it's using the best evidence we have to date. in any case I'm glad that you agree the rights not saying enough about it! it's a very important discussion that needs to be had on both sides

Jaguar Domingo Because climate change isnt in fact completely man made. It's weather patterns and the right agrees that recent industrialization has ramped up CO2 emmisions but currents trends aren't to blame completely on man. I agree the right needs to talk about these problems more often but there isnt really more we can do than what were already doing. CA is making all homes run on solar power in the coming decades as part of code.
