Description

There are few things more horrifying than the idea that your children can be taken from their beds, from their own home, while there's an adult sleeping inside, yet that's exactly what happened on the morning of Monday, Oct. 10, 2016 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We, as a modern society, have systems in place, technological marvels, to prevent and deter these things from happening. However, in this case, the very system that was used to try and rescue the children ended up leading to their deaths. This is the bizarre story of Amber Pazstor told through her own words. We're joined by Brett Thomas from WAYN-TV Newschannel 16, who interviewed Pazstor from behind bars to find out why she chose to perform this horrible series of actions.

this is extremely sad. She sounds just like my drug addict birth mom (even when she wasn't on drugs). Very paranoid and the fluctuations in her voice and attitude shows the mental waves she has. I'm so thankful my brothers, sister and I were taken from her because she would have done something like this I can say with certainty. So so sad...

i live in fort wayne. i watched the interview. this is so so hard to hear again. i almost threw up when it aired. my friend's son went to school for a year with lilliana. i met a teacher of renee. thank you for your show because i come home from work everyday and love on my children so much more. i can't help what life brings, but i love them so much harder after listening to this show. it kills me that someone from my hometown could imagine doing such a horrific act let alone going through it.

this interviewer interviewing the Killer is terrible at it. Mike would have done a better job.

Claire Smith I can't imagine knowing someone that this is happened to. I'd be heartbroken too. There's one episode on sword and scale where a woman kills her two kids and her mother calls 911 and she is just screaming crying on the phone You can feel the pain that she just lost her grandchildren by the hands of her daughter and that just killed me. I can't remember what number episode it is.

Melissa Gifford i cried so hard. my friend's kid went to school with the girl. i met one of the boy's (renee) teacher at the hospital i work for within the week of their death. i was heartbeaking. i agree the way sword and scale presented the interview wasnt as good as other stories... but literally she confessed to killing her neighbor for the vehicle and her kids then they aired it. i was working in a medical lab that day.. we all were crying.. so sick and sad...

Russell Hayden second story-- this bitch was crazy.... this is my hometown. this was an actual interview before all formal charges were pressed. fucking psycho. he kept her on the phone for much longer than anyone was able to keep her talking. this happened within the week of her smothering her kids.
