she writes back.. . resigned. well gee, she wasn't even listening while she was there. she chooses to remain; the therapist has to accept the people's choices.

Sara Pohl I agree. when she first said "dont talk for him this is his issue" i understood. so, she let him speak. and it made clear that he isn't forthcoming and willing to take any steps necessary to improve the issue out of hurt ego and avoidance. I'm shocked Esther didn't say more on that, but i immediately got very angry for his wife. i could feel her exasperation. sad. in the end i wanted her to leave him. someone who isn't willing to do their part and work on themselves for the good of the partnership isn't partner material at any stage of a relationship. he should be sexless and alone, its no longer her problem in my opinion. he doesn't seem to be bothered by it.
