Description

Stalking has only recently been recognized for what it is – a profound form of psychological abuse where the victim’s life is “infected” by the stalker, as one survivor put it. Stalking can go on for years, and in some cases may be the prelude to murder.

really interesting episode!! they discuss how most states had anti stalking laws by the year 2000, but these laws must not be very helpful, cause if you watched that true crime series stalked, it's FULL of cases of people being stalked, and the cops are very little help in most of these cases....yet the guys kinda elude to the idea that stalking is nipped in the bud these days, and law enforcement take it far more seriously, but according to that show, and the victims they speak to, that doesn't seem to be the case, which is why I'm so surprised at some of the discussion in this episode.

I had grown up in the Air Force. lived @ Yokota AFB, JAPAN for 4 years. our neighbor on the base were the Bardo's I was friends with the youngest Bardo, the one that shot R. Schaffer in late 90's.....it chills me to know what he did and the fact that he would have gotten away with it had he not been losing his mind running down I-10 in Pheonix. He admitted killing her. if he would have never mentioned that they never had an inkling about him doing this horrible crime.
