Description

Hello Everyday World Changers! I’m grateful to introduce you to today’s guest, Mastin Kipp. You might know Mastin from The Daily Love, which was his popular website and email subscription that he used to operate. It’s how I discovered him years ago and I’ve always looked up to him because of it.

Mastin is now a best-selling author, renowned public speaker and the creator of Functional Life Coaching, which is an innovative, unique and accelerated approach to creating lasting personal and business change. He’s been recognized by leaders like Oprah Winfrey, Tony Robbins and Arianna Huffington as a thought leader in personal development. Mastin’s latest book, Claim Your Power, is a 40-day journey to unlocking your life’s purpose, healing yourself from the inside-out and becoming who you were truly meant to me.

In this interview Mastin is talking about something that as he says, he’s never discussed really anywhere else before. He shares his method for healing the trauma you’ve experienced in your life, whether it is big or small. He’s got tactical tips for both your mindset and your physical health that are going to help you to heal that trauma so you can live your best, happiest and most transformational life - right this very second. He also shares his story about hitting “rock bottom”, becoming addicted to drugs and how he was able to pull himself out of his lowest point to create a transformational brand that has helped millions.

Hello, new time listener of your pod! This episode has been so extremely relatable to my sufferings. Except mine has taken a bit of a different turn. Y'all talk about focusing on helping others and how healing that is and I 110% agree, but my mind has used that as a clutch for years to avoid actually taking care of myself. I would love an episode about how to get myself to want to love and care for myself before I try to care for the world. Thanks so much 🤗

Dale Wrey Wow, that was a beautiful reply and appreciate all of the sentiment going into that :) a lot of that resonated with me and how I have been feeling towards myself. I took a screenshot so I can read that over and over. I hope you enjoy the pod!!

Kiana Amirifar Kiana, I (think) I understand exactly how you're feeling. There's only so much that you can give of yourself to others that it can literally drain you...and then some become insulted when you just can't give anymore because you're running on empty. It sounds like you've also heard enough of "Happiness is something that you get by giving it away". It sounds like you may just need to give Kiana a much deserved break and focus on what makes you happy and loved. Learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow. Today is the day you worried about yesterday, though it may not have been the day you hoped for but you made your way through it. We need to realize that Right Now is all we have. yesterdays regrets and our fears or worries of tomorrow get us nowhere. Nowhere that we want to be anyway. Seize this very moment, give yourself a big hug and love yourself-just for a moment. Rinse and repeat if you're fortunate enough to have another moment. Try and be grateful for and cherish each moment. Life's too short. Truly yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery ... all we have is the present. perhaps that's why it's also called a gift. Live a life you love and you will love life and yourself. There is no worse waste beyond being who we are instead of of being who we could have become. I wish you all the best. Now I think I'll check out this podcast. I've never listened to one.
