Description

Based on the iconic, Emmy-nominated series on A&E, "Cold Case Files" explores some of the most difficult-to-solve murders, which stymied investigators and went cold, sometimes for decades. In fact, one-third of all murders in America remain open. But thanks to dogged investigators and breakthroughs in forensic technology, these cases become part of the rare 1% of cold cases that are ever solved. Hosted by Brooke Gittings ("Convicted" and "Actual Innocence") and featuring the voice of original Cold Case Files host, Bill Kurtis.

I skip most of Bill Curtis’ episodes. I like Brooke’s style and tone, it’s unique. I like how she tries to go into a criminal’s mind, not to justify but to understand.

I love Bill Curtis. That’s the only reason why I listened to the podcasts. I have a hard time listening to to Brooke, she’s missing personality...it seems like she reading from a script. No originality. I’ll come back when Bill comes back...

The sympathy she shows to this man, and the disregard she shows toward the victims is morally repugnant. This is a very poor quality episode.

diane murphy You can slow the delivery down to a speed that suits you better. I found .08 to be more pleasing to listen to.

Michael Butrum What do you mean by that? For people who are hard of hearing, it's not easy understanding what someone is saying when they talk real fast.... Like this narrator.

holy.... this is the most horrifying case I have heard yet... I know previous cases had things beyond comprehension and immeasurable suffering... but this shocked me so much. I hope all those police officer Assholes got fired and their loves ruined like they ruined those poor kids...

I love this podcast but I disagree I feel like you can know everything about what's been said about this case all these years and still be very unbiased I feel like I am. at the end of the day it boils down to him giving his side of the story and why the coincidences would line up based on or compared to whatever the authorities present. it's not like people are going in there knowing that he did it having seen him did it or any concrete evidence like camera footage. it really boils down to evidence the guy that's arrested could end up being innocent there might be an explanation for his DNA being in whatever Place Anything is Possible

Niah Mason ummm no there is zero explanation for his semen being inside and on the bodies of each murdered female. ZERO.

Horrible, horrible narration.....I feel like I'm listening to the rapid fire voice that discloses the small print for a car dealership on the radio....she ruined this podcasr.

Jacqueline Meow Have you tried adjusting the speed of the podcast, what I hear is a conversational monotone, nothing rapid fire. Look around on the settings there is an adjustment tab if that's what's wrong.
