Millennials are the most stressed generation that has ever existed. We’re all stressed because we’re living in a time where our environments are evolving at a faster than our biology can keep up with. This stress and overwhelm is making millions of us sick, tired and frustrated. But we can’t solve stress and overwhelm by doing more and more of what we’ve been doing. We need a way to overcome it.Instead of just  meditating between twice during our 18 hour days and deep breathing through our 72 tasks each day, imagine if we could find a way to really focus on what matters so we could give our full energy to. Those things. Our guest today is Dr. Samantha Brody. She is a licensed naturopathic physician and acupuncturist, and the founder of Evergreen Natural Health Center in Portland, OR. Dr. Samantha says “You don’t need new ways to manage your stress, you need to/prevent/it from overwhelming you in the first place.”So today she’s going to help us systematically undo overwhelm. We will learn: * How to identify what’s truly important to you* How to identify the roadblocks that get in the way of making change* How to align your self care with your valuesSupport Mind Love's Sponsors: FabFitFun.com← use code MINDLOVE for $10 your first boxPolicyGeniusCitizenryPodcast.com ← use code MINDLOVE for $50 your purchase of $200 or moreShow Notes: https://mindlove.com/082Learn more about your ad choices. It's crazy that we don't really learn how to take care of ourselves in a way that will help us live long, healthy, optimal lives. Unless we seek the information ourselves, we don’t learn real nutrition, how to manage our emotions, or how to find fulfillment. Then so many of us reach a point where we think, is this all there is? If I’m not happy now, will I ever be?The takeaway is that we need to take our health and happiness into our own hands. We need to learn how to really truly care for ourselves.People will read tons of books on how to care for their new baby, but a lot of people don’t even think to read a book on how to take care of themselves… ironic right? When you educate yourself on nutrition and superfoods, you can level up your brain and body in powerful ways.Today’s episode covers a range in health care, from nutrition to finding our passion. Our guest is celebrity chef and nutritionist, Serena Poon. Her mission to promote further education around the mindful combination of food, nutrition and healing intuition in what she has coined, “Culinary Alchemy™.”Today we will learn:Why self-care is the least selfish thing you can doHow to break free from emotional dependencyHow to satisfy unhealthy cravings in healthier waysSupport Mind Love's Sponsors: Talkspace ← Use code MINDLOVE for $45 off your first monthStoryworth.com/MINDLOVE ← Get $20 OFF when you subscribeLearn more about your ad choices. Intuition is actually one of the most practical tools that we have as human beings, both in business and in life. It helps you make faster decisions, it helps you connect with yourself and make choices based on what’s right for you.If we want to be brilliant, or an innovator, or be ahead of the curve, we have to make decisions faster. We have to be able to trust our instincts. And we have to be willing to invest in our own ideas before something’s already been proven. Our relationships with ourselves, should be the strongest relationships that we have, and the more we lean on guidance outside of ourselves, we weaken that relationship. We should know our body signals. We should know when our body is telling us no, or pushing us to move forward. We should know how to trust ourselves when our inner voice is screaming at us.Today's episode is about using intuition in your decision making, whether for life, or for business. Our guest is Rick Snyder, the CEO of Invisible Edge™, an international consulting company that serves high level executives and companies to make innovative decisions based their inner guidance. Snyder combines his MA in psychology with his business experience to strengthen intuitive intelligence and create breakthrough strategies.Today we will learn:To demystify intuitionThe 5 things that get in the way of our intuitionPractical exercises to tap into our inner wisdomSupport Mind Love's Sponsors: Four Sigmatic← Use code MINDLOVE for 15% off your entire orderBlume← Text MIND to 797979 for 25% off and FREE shippingTalkspace ← Use code MINDLOVE for $45 off your first monthVistaprint.com ←Use promo code MINDLOVE for 500 custom business cards starting at $9.99Learn more about your ad choices. Today we're talking about EFT, otherwise known as tapping. And it’s something that you can learn to do yourself, at home, for free.Tapping is said to stimulate the instant release of stored emotions to resolve issues like stress, anxiety, phobias, weight issues, sexual issues, eating disorders, chronic pain, addiction, limiting beliefs…. The list is endless.Emotions and trauma are stored in the body. Tapping uses meridian points that are commonly used in acupuncture and acupressure, to gently stimulate these energy hot spots to restore balance in your body’s energy. It’s one of the coolest ways of using the mind body connection for deep emotional and physical healing. And today we’re learning all about it, including how to do it yourself. Our guest is Rob Nelson, ETF practitioner and master trainer. And also author of the book Hacking Reality, a book that helps you make huge breakthroughs fast. He’s helped hundreds of people worldwide through his Tapping the Matrix academy, and now he’s helping us today.Today we will learn:What’s really going on when we self-sabotageHow to identify and release core beliefs that are holding us backHow to address common blocks to success including procrastinationTapping (EFT) techniques you can do at homeSupport Mind Love's Sponsors: Four Sigmatic ← Use code MINDLOVE for 15% off your entire orderBlinkist ← Start your 7 day trial with code MINDLOVETalkspace ← Use code MINDLOVE for $45 off your first monthStoryworth.com/MINDLOVE ← For $20 your subscriptionLearn more about your ad choices. Do you often feel overwhelmed? Tired? Stressed out? Can't sleep? Do you wish you could have more energy without slamming 5 cups a coffee per day? Then this episode is for you. We’re going deep into meditation. But here's the thing... most people who struggle with meditation don't have the right information. Meditation shouldn't be hard!If you've struggled with meditation in the past, or can't seem to make it a habit, don't miss this episode. Meditation is a form of rest for our bodies that you can't get through sleep. And without it, chances are your brain can be working against you much of the time.Your body accumulates boat loads of stress throughout your lifetime (yes, your body may still be holding onto stress from as far back as childhood!), and if you don't have a way to release it, it can lead to disease, overwhelm, aging faster (eeek!) and the potential to snap at any moment.Today we’re bringing on Emily Fletcher, the founder of Ziva Meditation and the leading expert in meditation for extraordinary performance.Emily has managed to make meditation fun, easy and accessible. In part because she says most of the meditation we are used to was designed for monks dedicating their lives to zen stillness, not regular people doing regular shit all day.Today we will learn a simple but effective meditation practice that you can do anytime, anywhere, without an app to guide you.Today we will learn:How meditation changes our brainsHow stress from even 20 years ago can still live in your bodyWhy meditation is 5X more restful than sleepThe powerful trifecta of meditation, mindfulness and manifestingSupport Mind Love's Sponsors: Four Sigmatic <--- Use code MINDLOVE for 15% off your entire orderThirdLove.com/MINDLOVE for 15% off your first purchaseFitOn← Use code MINDLOVE for a Free 7-day trial and 80% off a subscriptionVistaprint.com ← Use promo code MINDLOVEShow Notes: https://mindlove.com/076Learn more about your ad choices. Today we're talking about toxic parents and family members, but everything here also applies to toxic relationships, so stick around if that speaks to you.Loving someone doesn’t always mean having a relationship with them, just like forgiveness doesn’t always mean reconciliation. Reconciling, in many cases, only sets people up for more abuse. A significant part of healing comes with accepting that this is a part of life; there are some relationships that are so poisonous that they destroy one’s ability to be healthy and function best. Our guest today is Dr. Sherrie Campbell. a licensed psychologist, nationally recognized expert, and inspiring author. She clarifies how parents, adult children, siblings, grandparents, and in-laws can be toxic while giving direction on how to explain cutting ties to children and others who may not understand.Today we will learn:The difference between toxic and non-toxic people and how to tell the differenceThe lifelong affect toxic relationships have on youHow to start building back your confidence in the aftermathSupport Mind Love's Sponsors: Four Sigmatic <--- Use code MINDLOVE for 15% off your entire orderFitOn App <-- Use code MINDLOVE for a 7-day free trial and 80% off a subscriptionBlinkist <--- Start your 7 day trial with code MINDLOVEShow Notes: https://mindlove.com/075Learn more about your ad choices. I relate to this in every aspect. I met my husband in elementary school but we started dating when I was 17 and we dated all the way through college and got married and were together for 25 years when he passed away at the age of 43 very unexpectedly. I'm a year-and-a-half into the street journey and really trying to figure out who I am without him, all while grieving and trying to parent 3 kids who have lost their dad. thank you for letting me know that I'm not alone in this journey and that hopefully in 10 or 11 years I can have found new love discover who I am and kept the hope and found joy.

Such a great podcast. How are you so insightful on this subject?? Lol. I totally get where you’re coming from tho, I’m also someone who wants everyone to like me and not be on their bad side and don’t want any friction and avoid tension.. so in essence I’m SUPER self conscious when in social situations and ruminate about a stupid thing I said or what I could have said in that moment. That definitely needs to stop. And it’s good to know that it’s pretty normal for just about everyone so it really isn’t as big a deal as we believe it to be in our heads ✌️❤️

Cannot recommend. It's so off topic, I kept having to go back & look for the podcast title, to remind what the topic was! And the host is literally in 'awe' of anything the guest says. But when everything is profound... nothing is profound.
