They got me too, it took me to episode 3 to figure out that there’s no possible way it’s real.

would've made for a great story in 1937. when there was no TV. And fiction ruled the airwaves.

I normally do not write reviews but this podcast is definitely worth the effort. I listened to the entire series while on a long road trip and I found it incredibly well written, well acted and well produced. There was never a doubt that this was a mockumentary and I appreciate the subtle humor and clever storyline provided. This is not for audiences who need to have the humor explained or who need to be told where the jokes are. This is a tough act to follow, but I look forward to the attempt.

This is hands down the best pod cast I've listened to!!! I absolutely love the weirdness of this guy, the situation and timeline... It was a reminder of how cheesey Florida was in the 90s, I mean "Flesh Boys" holy hell. "Christian Slater Lettuce?!?!" these people are all characters! Such a great show!!!

That was mind blowing!!! That's what I thought before I looked it up. Now I just feel silly for believing it was real. But it was a great podcast!!

I grew up in Albuquerque. There was no KNMP channel 6, lol. I wonder why they didn't just use a actual TV station to add realism.

it's not real. I enjoyed it so much when I thought it was real, now I feel kind of cheated. you have to believe it's real to really have fun . so hopefully I didn't ruin that for you haha sure novels are fiction, but you know up front. I simultaneously love and begrudge this for being fiction but not telling me. it captivated me in a way it wouldn't have, had I known it was fiction. learning it was fiction completely deflated my enthusiasm. well, whatever. people in Florida are so insane it may as well have been real. it was fun while it lasted! very, very fun. enrapturing. enthralling. addictive. now that I know it's not real it feels contrived, but if you can let go of that it rules! give it a shot

Dangrit Salty In the podcast description, it says "a fictional story so believable it can't be true" 🙄

The audio quality was great for the first several episodes and then becomes very bad. The Trial episode was nearly hopelessly garbled.
