I wonder if, during the animal "diversity" segment, the "journalist" could have said "like" a few hundred more times. Learn to speak for the love of all that is holy!

As a rat owner, with a long term bf who I got our rags with, sleeping with your rat IS weird.

Thank you thank you thank you for turning out a very enjoyable non-political episode that managed to avoid any reference to Trump, immigration, gender, race, or climate. It was a breath of fresh air!

Just because there are more papers published on vertebrates doesn't mean that it is easier to get a vertebrate paper published than an invertebrate paper. Vertebrates are studied more, so there will be more papers published. What was identified is a bias in what is studied, not what is published. To determine if there is a bias in what is published, it would require data on how many of each type of paper is submitted for publishing compared to how many are published. I understand that it was mentioned that he didn't have access to that data, but perhaps he could get data regarding how many scientists are studying each type of species.

Angel Rolon How funny that the guy complaining about someone else's [supposedly] annoyingly repetitive speech-quirk is, himself, the ONLY commenter inanely repeating himself and replying blindly to comments that have nothing to do with his mini-tirade... Like, seriously dude, like if I was like the host like of the WHOLE like program, like MAAAYBE I could like see you complaining...But ^ ¿¡THIS!? ^ like is just like a weird fixation on like your end...

Jared Poulter or his girlfriend/wife/partner could have stop saying "like" after the 2000th time. Was wondering if she was going for a personal best.
