However, when these emotions overwhelm us we may find ourselves thrown off-balance, losing our ability to function or communicate effectively.

In today's meditation, we practice staying calm in the middle of a storm. We learn how to express emotion, sympathy, and empathy, while still retaining our internal peace and effectiveness.
